TO ALL TEENS!!!

If you're an aspiring writer (like me), and you want to take the chance on writing in a for-teens-by-teens e-zine, then this is what you've been looking for...

My name is Ada Mae Jarder. I'm fourteen, and I'm from the Philippines. For as long as I can remember, I've always been fascinated by writing. I love writing lyric poems and essays, especially on current issues. The problem is I never got any of my work published because I just couldn't find the right way to do so. All those periodicals just weren't my 'thing'.

So I figured that if I had my own magazine or whatever, in any form, perhaps I'd be enthused enough to express myself.  And guess what? I've chosen to do so on-line. That gives every other teen who feels the same way as I do the opportunity to express themselves as well.

That is why I am planning to run a monthly for-teens-by-teens e-zine called The Teen Grind. YOU could take part in it! It's not just me, it's US. If you're interested in such thing, just be patient with reading this entire thing, pleeease???

By the way, you have to be 12 - 16 years of age to work for The Teen Grind. Now here's what we need:

Okay, now if you want to take a job, please e-mail me the following with The Teen Grind as subject:

- your name
- your age
- your e-mail address
- your country
- the job you'd like to take
- a short essay on why you think you should have that job

Now if you want to be a photo or art editor, e-mail me the following with The Teen Grind as subject:

- your name
- your age
- your e-mail address
- your country
- whichever of the two jobs you'd like to take
- an example of your work

Last but not the least, I would like to remind everyone that not all people who apply for a job will get the job. Just please don't feel too bad about it. You will be given more opportunities, perhaps better. And I might consider you for a different job... :o)
